Bacon Survivor drops a brave pig into a land full of monsters and gives it exactly one thing to work with: a gun. Slimes, bats and a parade of strange "brainrot" creatures pour in from every side, and every wave is bigger than the last. Your goal is simple. Stay alive, get stronger, and keep the bacon off the grill as long as you can.
It is made by SnoutUp, a studio with a long history of pig heroes. They also made Iron Snout, the pig-versus-wolves brawler, and Bacon May Die. This time the pig picks a different genre: the survivor-like, the one-room roguelike made famous by Vampire Survivors.

Every run starts weak. You have one basic gun, and the first enemies go down easily. Defeated monsters drop experience. Collect enough and you level up, which lets you choose a new skill or improve one you already have. Then the next wave shows up with more enemies, faster ones, and tougher ones.
That loop is the whole game, and it is very hard to stop. A run that starts with a pig carefully dodging three slimes ends with a fully upgraded pig cutting through a screen-filling swarm. Then it is all over, and you start again a little smarter.
Along with experience, you earn coins. They stay with you between runs and pay for new looks for your pig hero. That gives even a short, unlucky run some value. You always leave with something.

Bacon Survivor suits two kinds of players. If you are new to survivor-likes, it is a friendly start, with simple controls, a funny hero and short runs. If you are a veteran of the genre, it is a quick, light version to play in a spare ten minutes, and the build choices still give you something to think about.
Survivor games are a deep genre. Try 10 Minutes Till Dawn for a darker, gun-focused take, or Brotato for a potato with six weapons and a huge build variety. For more of SnoutUp's pig adventures, Iron Snout is a must-play. Now grab your gun. The monsters are already on their way.
