Stickman Climb 3D gives you a stickman who can't walk, can't jump and can't run. All he has is a pickaxe. You hook it into the level and use it to pull, swing and climb your way forward. The goal is the flag at the end of each level. Between you and it are ledges, gaps, spikes and traps, and the constant danger of losing your balance.
It is the 3D sequel to the popular Stickman Climb series by No Pressure Studios, the team that also made Crazy Cars and Rocket Soccer Derby. If you know the "Getting Over It" style of climbing games, this is the friendlier, more colourful version.

The pickaxe swings around your stickman. When it hits a surface, it grips, and moving it then pulls your body along. To climb a ledge, hook the top and swing yourself up. To cross a gap, hook the far side and pull. It sounds simple, but every movement affects your balance, and one bad swing can drop you back to the bottom.
Thankfully, levels have checkpoints. Reach one, and if you fall later, you start again from there rather than from the beginning. If you get really stuck, the respawn key takes you back to the last checkpoint at once.
Each level adds new dangers: deadly traps and spikes that end your attempt if you touch them. You have to find a path around them, often with very precise swings.

As you play, you can customize your stickman with new colours, vehicles and weapons. They give you a reason to keep collecting and make your climber stand out, especially when playing against a friend.
The 2-player mode turns climbing into a race. Two stickmen, one keyboard, one flag. It is very funny to watch someone almost reach the top and fall all the way down.
For the hardest version of this idea, try Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy. For swinging fun with a rope instead of a pickaxe, play Stickman Hook. And for more climbing, Only Up! is a classic. Now grab the pickaxe and start climbing.
